  • What is the long-term exit strategy?

This should be the chance to re set our Healthcare system
In 1968 about 30000 died out of a population of just under 50 million with the last flu epidemic.
The country and the world did not shut down then so is Covid worse or are we less resilient and accepting of the inevitable.
No matter what lockdown policy we pursue we will all at some point get exposed to this virus unless we wish to live like hermits for the rest of our lives.
We should a give people the facts and let them decide for themselves how they wish to live their lives and what level of risk they accept .We should focus all our resources on protecting the most vulnerable members of our community.
If we have no economy we have no money for Healthcare either.
Sorry to be such a harbinger of gloom and doom

As usual one branch of government messes up another.
No joined up thinking as usual.
I am afraid we have a barely competent political class with little experience of the real world.
I would not trust them to run a whelk stall
