Because if they said so,they would carry the can and we know blaming GPs is so much easier.
Another recommendation not the paper it's printed on, issued by people who dont live in the real world.
Excellent advice, so what should I prescribe?
What a nice way to motivate GPs and retain the senior colleagues.
Simple answer to this problem.Form AW8.
Kindly consider retirement if you are surprised by this study result.
I would like to know who advises these people in government. If this is what they are planning, they might as well not bother.
My form AW8 has gone in.
Absence of evidence does not equate to evidence of absence.
The owner shop at the petrol station is hoping the roofer is the cowboy variety.
Waste of time.
I am still leaving the pension scheme.
Th governments current pension proposal is the very definition of an exercise in utter futility.
I have always felt that with mental health referrals, you need to be perched on the bridge or have the noose around your neck before they consider it a crisis.
There has to be a charge, but the problem is I dont trust ANY politician, born or not unborn to govern this.
Even a five pound charge will dissuade a lot of pointless GP appointments typically sought by the worried well.
A lot of people will say they cant afford any fee, but will soon turn up asking for a GP letter detailing the reasons why they have to take their pregabalin on their next foreign holiday.
I do agree that any fees charged must be similarly enforced at AE.
The proposed changes is unlikely to make any difference whatsoever to the plans by senior GPs to cut their hours or retire completely.
The government is faffing around whilst this crisis escalates.
The solution is very very simple. Scrap the tapered AA and increasing the LTA .
If the government is not prepared to do this, they would have sown the wind and will reap the whirlwind.
This is only going to slightly improve the situation.
It will not stop me from cutting my hours.
If the government is serious ,they will remove the annual allowance and raise the LTA for public sector workers.
@5 sessions is the new 10.
I am surprised that you have not heard from them. My statement was received 4 weeks after I requested it.
My advice is to make a fresh request.
Watch the government go after your lump sump on retirement.
I am getting out.
Did anyone genuinely think they were going to do anything positive?
If I could afford it right now, I would retire before I finish tying this sentence.
The solution is to increase the pensions cap back up to £1.5 million .
They are not going to do this, so we are wasting our time here.
