The District nurses wont't even take blood from housebound patients round here so can't see them "extending " their role
As a Lincolnshire GP myself I can definately say most GP's round here are full time and lining up to leave/emigrate/retire
Clicked on to the link to the sun to see article and noted another article about the prostitute earning more than £2000 a week.......balloon game anybody?
I should have organised my own political party and said i'd pledge a trillion in NHS funding
Place these words in their correct order
Shit, Jack, worth.
Or more people are going to the acute hospitals and getting antibiotics due to a GP shortage ?
I think he should wear his top hat all the time for dramatic effect...
I went to a meeting last night for our PCN. There was a presentation from social presciber group wanting NHSE money. Why can't we spend it on real GP's ! This isn't General Practice anymore , the government want style over substance. General Practice RIP
Can GP’s urge Government to promote catch up MMR vaccines and stop the anti vaxxers
And inflation is about 2.7% ! Ah come on BMA your having a laugh
Actually it’s not just Babylon causing problems, we’ve had an email to say that due to problems with Capita ( who’d would have guessed that), our end of month payments will be late !
Key recommendation no .
8. Every surgery to have pet unicorn
Possibly this is the most achievable
With “ friends “ like this ........
Merry Christmas everyone else
Still haven’t got WiFi yet
I’m old enough to remember the GP on Neighbours doing brain surgery on one of her patients...maybe we should start with that?
As a last man standing and over 56 , I hear that NHS England or “ putting more money in than ever” and “ training more GP’s”.....I don’t know who advises NHS England, but they really haven’t a clue.
Actually have tried some of those things, getting patient in , making sure they are on patient access, copying the redacted notes they want. However, we are still getting similar crap from solicitors like in the article, demanding the records and threateningly GMC or that we are breeching the rules of the new Law. !!!!
Finally a ray of hope for us all and a beginning perhaps for a reversal of the GMC’s
Appalling treatment of this poor young doctor. The criminal case was wrong, the attitude of the GMC was wrong and we felt powerless to help her. I sincerely hope that this is start of something new that patients and doctors can feel confident in.
