Agree that life style medicine has tremendous impact on peoples health. But the the practical difficulties are the service user our patients ,How many of them ie % will take home our message and adhere to them? NHS UK pt's expectations are high and different.Personnel responsibilities of individuals are low.Unless the "culture" changes in user and provider no amount of increased resources can meet the demand.
Everyone is talking and commenting of NHS mostly in negative sense. All of them are about the service providers. Can any one say how the service user can help or use NHS the way it must be used? i.e. self sensible healthy living not to live in the world of "state will take care of me"
I am retired GP from my own practice and would like to continue to do 2/3 GP locums or adhoc sessions per week. Also relocated to a different locations having all the required certificates.
Would like young and retired colleagues guidance to start with!
