I note your report that Government research shows GPs' morale has improved since the new contract (News, February 26).

I would question whether it is just that we are so busy trying to win points to maintain our income, that our workload has gone up so much we are just too busy to moan!

The story of the GP fighting to cope with a list of 6,000 while jumping through nonsensical bureaucratic hoops exemplifies this.
