GPs go forth

Last Man Standing

  • GPs unable to get hold of coronavirus PPE as NHS England says it will not supply it

    Last Man Standing's comment 21 Feb 2020 12:05pm

WE ARE VIEWED AS CANNON FODDER...IT IS LIKE A BLACKADDER SKETCH.....

SIR, ANY CHANCE OF HAVING SOME PROTECTION OTHER THAN A BROOMSTICK IN THE TRENCHES....

HOW DARE YOU, CHEEKY BOY...JUST RUGBY TACKLE BOSCH BEFORE A HEARTY MEAL.....

  • 'Two GPs' among eight confirmed UK coronavirus cases

    Last Man Standing's comment 10 Feb 2020 3:02pm

IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN SOONER OR LATER....

WE MUST CARRY ON PRETENDING THAT THERE ARE "SOPHISTICATED SYSTEMS AND ALGORITHMS"TO PROTECT PATIENTS AND MANAGE CASES....WHAT LIKE LOCK THEM IN THE ROOM AND THEN PHONE THEN ON THEIR MOBILE AND ADVISE THEM TO PHONE 111....OR THE TOTAL LACK OF SUPPORT FROM PHE THAT PRACTICES RECEIVE...

THOSE ADVISING ON THIS OUTBREAK SHOULD ADMIT THAT THEY ARE ABOUT 2 WEEKS "BEHIND THE CURVE" AND OFFER THEIR RESIGNATIONS.
IF I WAS HANCOCK I WOULD CALL THEM IN AND EXPLAIN THAT TODAY "ONE OF YOU IS GOING TO GET FIRED".
THE TROUBLE IS THE DAILY NUTTER CANNOT CRITICISE THE GOVERNMENT DUE TO ITS INSANE CONFLICT OF INTEREST BEING THE GOVERNMENT ENFORCER.

  • GPs to be offered golden handshakes of £20,000 to take up partnerships

    Last Man Standing's comment 06 Feb 2020 6:58pm

THE TRUTH IS THIS STATEMENT IS REALLY JUST FOR THE DAILY NUTTER (THE "CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE" THAT CONTROLS THIS GROTTY COUNTRY)SO WE GET MORE ABUSE.
EXPECT PATIENTS COMNING IN SAYING "GETTING A NEW CAR, DOC? AT THE TAXPAYERS EXPENSE!" ALL OD THE USUAL INSANE AND MAD RAMBLINGS FROM THE DAILY NUTTER....FED BY THE TREASURY...

  • GPs to be offered golden handshakes of £20,000 to take up partnerships

    Last Man Standing's comment 06 Feb 2020 6:31pm

SAME OLD STORY...THEY HATE EXISTING PARTNERS....IT IS ALL ABOUT RECRUITMENT BUT NOTHING ABOUT RETENTION.

    WELL THEY CAN **** ***!!

YEARS OF SHIT AND NOTHING BUT ABUSE.
THEY WANT EXISTING PARTNERS TO LEAVE BUT WHY...WE ARE HOLDING THE BLOODY ROOF UP...ARE THEY NUT-JOBS?

  • Para-doctors will not save the day

    Last Man Standing's comment 06 Feb 2020 9:53am

GENERAL PRACTICE COULD EASILY BE SOLVED THROUGH THESE OR OTHER MEASURES.
THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE GOVERNMENT SIMPLY WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT QUALITY COSTS.
THE PUBLIC SHOULD BE PUNISHING THE GOVERNMENT OVER THIS BUT SO FAR HAVE BEEN VERY GENEROUS HENCE THE PRESSURE FOR CHANGE IS ONLY LIMITED

  • Patient died by suicide after A&E referred him back to his GP

    Last Man Standing's comment 03 Feb 2020 7:53pm

THE HOSPITALS SEND EVERYBODY "BACK TO THEIR GP" BECAUSE OFTEN THEY ARE FOCUSED ON PROTECTING THEIR OWN WORKLOAD RATHER THAN TAKING RESPONSIBILITY.

  • The GP workforce's faulty production line

    Last Man Standing's comment 03 Feb 2020 3:27pm

THE GOVERNMENT WILL FAIL THEN "BULLSHIT THEIR WAY OUT" BY BLAMING THE PROFESSION, THE EU AND ANYONE ELSE (EXCEPT THEMSELVES)-THE PUBLIC WILL LAP IT UP AFTER THE DAILY NUTTER SPIN THE STORY.....

  • Jeremy Hunt appointed chair of the health and social care committee

    Last Man Standing's comment 30 Jan 2020 11:05am

IT IS LIKE TRYING TO AVOID THE SCHOOL BULLY WHO BECOMES OBSESSED AND THEN STARTS STALKING YOU...

ON THAT POINT, STALKING IS NOW AN OFFENCE....

  • The gender divide is a result of an inflexible partnership model

    Last Man Standing's comment 28 Jan 2020 10:17am

I DON'T ENTIRELY UNDERSTAND THE ARTICLE..

ANY GP MALE OR FEMALE WHO CHOOSES CAN BE A PARTNER BUT YES THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE CRAP-NOT JUST HOURS BUT LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY.
THAT IS WHY THERE ARE NO APPLICANTS.
THE GOVERNMENT ARE NOT GOING TO START PAYING GP PARTNERS MORE OR BETTER HOURS SO THERE IS A SIMPLE LIFE CHOICE-EITHER LESS PAY AND LESS STRESS/LESS POWER OR MORE PAY AND MORE STRESS/MORE POWER.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GENDER OTHER THAN (USUALLY) WOMEN HAVE TO MAKE THE SAME DIFFICULT DECISIONS IN ALL CAREERS NOT JUST MEDICINE.
BASICALLY IN EVERY RELATIONSHIP ONE PARENT HAS TO COMPROMISE WHETHER MALE OR FEMALE.

  • No details about how GPs’ winter pension tax charges will be paid, warns BMA

    Last Man Standing's comment 21 Jan 2020 10:53am

THE GOVERNMENT HAVE A "VENDETTA" AGAINST GPs. IT IS GOOD COP-BAD COP.
CONSULTANTS ARE GOOD, WHOLESOME AND WORTHY.
GPs ARE EVIL, CUNNING, GREEDY AND LIKE A JAMES BOND SUPERVILLIAN.THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO BLACK-MAIL GPs TO DO AS THE GOVERNMENT WANTS.

MY PLEA TO YOUNG DOCTORS....PLEASE AVOID GENERAL PRACTICE....WHY CAUSE YOURSELF THIS MUCH SELF-HARM.....GO FOR "GOOD COP" AND HAVE A BETTER CAREER....

  • BMA warns reported increase in pensions tax threshold 'will not solve problems'

    Last Man Standing's comment 16 Jan 2020 3:39pm

THERE IS A "PROXY WAR" GOING ON AND, AS USUAL, THE TORY MEDIA ARE ACTING TO "TERRORISE" GENERAL PRACTICE INTO SUBMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT.

THERE WILL BE A FURTHER FLURRY OR ARTICLES REGARDING "GREEDY GPs" AS THE TOP CIVIL SERVANTS CONTINUE THEIR "SILLY AND SECRET BRIEFINGS" TO THE MEDIA ON BEHALF OF THEIR POLITICAL MASTERS.

WHAT KIND OF GOVERNMENT WOULD RESORT TO "TERRORISING" ITS OWN PEOPLE IN THIS WAY....WELL SURPRISINGLY NOT NECESSARY THE USUAL SUSPECTS....

BUT ONCE THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO ARE BRIEFING THE MEDIA AGAINST GPs GO PUBLIC, THE WHOLE PACK OF CARDS WILL FALL.....

  • 1 in 10 clinical directors plans to resign from networks in next 12 months

    Last Man Standing's comment 15 Jan 2020 3:35pm

NHS ENGLAND are under pressure-they need to pull a rabbit out of the bag-a miracle-but without spending any money to keep Johnson happy.
    So we get a kicking.
They can't change, they won't change.
The answer---we all say no, goodbye, adios

  • Just one in eight GPs earns over £100k a year

    Last Man Standing's comment 07 Jan 2020 1:14pm

WHY CAN'T SOMEONE FROM THE DAILY NUTTER PLEASE BREAK THE "CODE OF SILENCE" AND ADMIT THAT THEY PEDDLE THESE ANTI-GP STORIES AS A "FAVOUR FOR THEIR POLITICAL MASTERS"...WHO THINK THAT "TERRORISING GPs" WILL SOLVE THE RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION CRISIS...IT IS INCREDIBLE THAT SOMEONE COULD BE THAT THICK AS TO THINK THAT ATTACKING PUBLIC SECTOR WORKERS REPEATEDLY WILL BRING ABOUT A POSITIVE OUTCOME.....

  • Just one in eight GPs earns over £100k a year

    Last Man Standing's comment 07 Jan 2020 1:06pm

    Lincolnshire GP

The highest hourly rates are for locums-hence why nobody wants Partnership or Salaried......

As for high social status, what does this actually mean?

Who cares about social status anyway.....what does this mean? Do you walk around saying "Do you know who I am?" I certainly do not. Do we get special treatment as a result of this alleged social status? I can think of none, can you?
This is all fictional nonsense peddled by the Daily Nutter...we are not in the 1950s....nobody cares who you are or what you do these days...nothing means anything in the modern world....We live in a society, in general, no longer values these jobs but rather values celebrities and footballers and we have the media to thank for that....

  • Just one in eight GPs earns over £100k a year

    Last Man Standing's comment 07 Jan 2020 11:44am

THE USE OF "MEDIA PROXIES" TO ATTACK YOUR PERCEIVED ENEMIES HAS BEEN A GOVERNMENT STRATEGY AGAINST THE PUBLIC SECTOR FOR YEARS.....
THE IDEA IS THAT THE MEDIA CAN KEEP THE PUBLIC SECTOR "IN CHECK" BY SUCH INTIMIDATION.
IT WORKS TEMPORARILY BUT THE FALLOUT IS THAT NOBODY WANTS TO WORK IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR.

  • Pulse 2019 review: GP workload laid bare

    Last Man Standing's comment 28 Dec 2019 5:06pm

GPs and the public had a "contract"....the unwritten rule was that we cared for them and in turn they cared about us.
But things have clearly changed.....not universally but, in general, they could not care less whether we are sad or happy, burnt out or not or indeed dead or alive...other than being dead means a clinic cancelled potentially at short notice.
    The contract is now broken.
In response, many younger GPs cannot see why they should still fulfill their part of this historic deal which is "giving their today for someone else's tomorrow".
Would you surrender your entire life for someone who could not give a fig about you.....?
This summarises the problem......and this is the new reality and there is no going back now.
Without this deal, General Practice is just a job and therefore subject to scrutiny like all other jobs in that if the terms and conditions are crap, then nobody will do the job.
The Government benefitted hugely from the "historic contract" and it is they that threw it away. In turn it is they and sadly the general public that will suffer from this terrible blunder.

  • What is in the Conservatives' in-tray for general practice?

    Last Man Standing's comment 16 Dec 2019 11:41am

I SUSPECT A NEW ROUND OF "DAILY NUTTER BRIEFINGS"...GPs ARE ALL EVIL, LAZY MONSTERS...BLAH BLAH BLAH.

PLUS ROLLING OUT....WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING UNTIL

    1. BREXIT IS DONE
    2. THE STATE OF UNION IS DONE
    3. NORTHERN IRELAND IS DONE
    4. A US FREE TRADE AGREEMENT IS DONE
    5. CLIMATE CHANGE IS DONE

IT IS ALL "JAM TOMORROW"-WELL I HAVE TO SAY...

GO SWIVEL...WE ARE TIRED OF THE ENDLESS BEATINGS AND ARE GOING TO FIGHTBACK....

  • NHS patients and GPs deserve better than another five years of this circus

    Last Man Standing's comment 05 Dec 2019 3:27pm

FAKE NEWS.....YOU SMART PEOPLE ARE GONNA GET YOUR NHS REALLY GREAT, YEP GREAT AGAIN.

    SMART, YEP REAL SMART PEOPLE

  • British GP unable to work in NHS as GMC says laws are 'not fit for purpose'

    Last Man Standing's comment 05 Dec 2019 10:01am

THE GMC ARE "BULLSHITTERS" TRYING TO BLAME LEGISLATION....
THEY ARE DIRECTLY HARMING PATIENT CARE THROUGH ACTIONS AND POLICIES AND "CRIMINAL CHARGES" SHOULD BE BROUGHT AGAINST THEM.

THE TROUBLE IS THEY ARE EFFECTIVELY ABOVE THE LAW, IT SEEMS.

  • Higher GP funding associated with better CQC ratings, research shows

    Last Man Standing's comment 03 Dec 2019 6:51pm

THERE COULD BE 1,000 STUDIES SHOWING THIS BUT BECAUSE DOH DO NOT WANT TO ADDRESS THIS "ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM" NOTHING WILL CHANGE.

WE HAVE NOT YET REACHED THE TIPPING POINT BUT TRUST ME THERE IS A HUGE CRISIS COMING AND WHEN THE TSUNAMI HITS ALL THE BULLSHITTERS WILL BE BLAMING EACH OTHER......
