National Hopeless Service
Anybody who thinks PCNs are going to save GP world think again. No amount of superficial tinkering will help recruitment.
Well thats super. So now we can dispense with Friends and Family, appraisal and CQC.....
FFFFFFF fake news.
Planners dont care. They have to meet their targets regardless. We have objected to numerous large scale planning developments, waste of time and effort.
If you order a test you should be responsible for all aspects of the outcome of that investigation, that includes GP locums.
As a small fully functional practice we are being dragged into the mire of struggling large practices. Totally stupid.
A NHSE spokesperson said "120 is 2000"
There is some evidence that the NHS is managed by idiots who like soundbite phrases to plaster over the mess they have made
I have loads of young rude high trivia demand patients that babylon are welcome to.
Carers need help, support and advice not medicine. GPs are trained in medicine. This is the role of social care.
Doesnt work, tried it. The problem with medicine it its too grey and too emotive. Differing levels of empathy, sympathy, knowledge, skills, anxiety levels and thresholds for investigation/referral means that we are all perceived differently by different patients and they end up wanting to see individual doctors not the job share.
I like Penguins with their funny little waddle and amusing sliding on the snow. I will prescribe Penguins not trees.
The job is crap but we have no intention of changing it so dear GPs just do as much/little as you can tolerate. What a dreadful way to do business.
Blue detached idiots or red unrealistic idiot. What a choice.
During my career I've watched FPCs, FHSAs, RHAs, LHAs, PCOs, PCTs, Community Hospitals, Community staff attached then unattached from practices etc etc. All 'new' phases that didnt change a bloody thing.
Cant wait to spend my sessions reassuring the worried well that their self limiting illness is indeed trivia. Please phone me next week with more dross.
Mind numbing, skill losing, boring medicine.
The problem with what I have read about this report is that it doesnt focus on what patients are 'consulting' with. Given the age band, the high consultation rate and lack of desire for continuation of care I can only assume that its used for self limiting, worried well trivia that probably didnt need ANY medical input.
The NHS was set up when people were dying of diptheria, polio, pneumonia, TB, Tetanus etc. the eradication of these conditions has been highly successful but its resulted in the threshold of perceived illness dropping to snotty noses and insect bites being an illness that 'requires' intervention. The NHS wasnt designed for this and its no longer sustainable.
Their definition of support isn't the same as mine.
Well I am going to protect the public by reducing my sessions by half for two years and then retiring early. Utterly stupid. This government has become clueless to reality.
