Ok today I thought I’d count.
In 10 patients I needed 8 physical examinations.
So I doubt your figures.
At least in a very deprived community.
Are you just expecting us to guess stuff? Insanity in the new world of GNM and blaming clinicians
bound to work. Australian GPs cant know about vicious parasitic lawyers and poisonous regulators destroying good doctors. theres no way they'll know that pay is going down, workload and stress is spiralling and that GPs are treated with a unique contempt in the UK.
its really a good job there is no world wide computer network to instantly give them this information
I believe ROFL is the new term for this idea
are these plans similar to the plans for an extra 5000 GPs then?
It’s called the reality gap.
The distance between what is claimed and what is real
If hmg and the U.K. public want to destroy their healthcare I can’t stop them.
My view has changed. There’s money to be made in this insanity situation. But I’m off ...
This wasn’t wot I trained for. Hope my colleagues charge a fortune
how about decreasing regulation decreasing workload and increasing pay. just to get us back to where we were 10 years ago?
ok im still gonna quit early
well im sure the BMA will be just as effective in its call for a second vote as it has been in protecting doctors pay and working conditions...
Ah top gp eh. Good luck with that.
As partnerships go maybe the lackeys will realise the emperor has no clothes and charge market rate?
Look mate. I used to work for goodwill in a smaller practice.
Now I work for money in a GP shortage.
Great move eh. ( for me not you)
You millennials have more in common with older ex partners than you think.
(Was a senior partner, got no support at all in a recruitment crisis and am now proving my services at market rate. I still provide continuity and good medicine... but I won’t sacrifice my life for a failing and perverse system)
All the people who once cared and were attacked by HMG through stupid contracts and Steve Field and his instruments of torture ( I include myself in this)
Now do not care whether the system survives or not.
Or provide work for goodwill to the system
And negotiate commercial contracts for ourselves.
So it’s finished
I’ve seen a colleague ( not this area) pilloried for no mri brain even when the neurologist who the patient was referred to requested an mri just in case, saying they thought it was just migraine. Was a sol.
My mother died of dementia more agitated and upset than she could have been , because doctors ( I don’t blame them fo one second ) were afraid to use drugs on her.
Depressing garbage from the royal colleges as ever.
a personal message to non UK doctors thinking of coming here.
Why? The regulatory system is built on blame of individuals to deflect from government and funding inadequacy. There is a vicious anti doctor mentality in the media whipped up by years of government spin .
You may do your absolute best here, do a good job and still be a target for greedy lawyers, vicious regulators and a corrupt state who will ruin your career and possibly much more.
Don’t come here . Really don’t
every single death eh.
i have quite a high death rate actually
(possibly because I do one session a week of palliative care)
I have so little faith in the fairness or competence of our regulators that it I can forsee problems
a few more years to early retirement. then all those clever regulators can see the patients
The cavalry is not coming.
Look after yourselves.
Greetings from the Sunshine Coast
you came back from working down under?
Faced with similar
I just left .
Ive never looked back, best decision I’ve ever made.
It’s really difficult to do but with a vicious and unfair regulator and no support why take it on yourself?
Leave. Let the practice collapse. Don’t hold back against the system at a cost to yourself .
its a clever clever move.
-GMC will survey mental health.
-doctors will lie about problems because they are scared of the thought police
- the survey will show all is well and that the GMC is not causing mental health problems in its victims

So depressing , the BMA .
Male and female GPs are being treated like dirt. The BMA has just dry powder.
There is at least one female I’d love to be in charge, not because she’s female but because she’d fight for us. Resilient GP anyone?
The BMA disappears up its own fundament at every opportunity
It’s not nice at all. All the best
