yes obviously the answer!!!
so its nothing to do with gross underfunding, insane demand, and regular beatings from lawyers politicians ,steve field after all
dear health minister,
due to the mess you have made of the primary care system I no longer have a practice.
I think youll now find it is you that has to invest to pay me a competitive rate
well very informative.
the fact the practice failed wasn't the fact that we had no applicants in 5 years and everybody else had retired and demand was insane. it was down to me all along!
I was only working every day of the week after all often with ridiculously long and stressful days, obviously I was part of the problem
stil health minister, that's your problem now as im paid by the hour and will leave GP ing as soon as I can.
beat the dedication and hard work out of them eh..bound to work
Is that the same ciprofloxacin that you can buy on the internet for travellers diarrhoea ...from U.K. Websites with CQC registration?
And that you can buy otc in much of the world ?
And that was used extensively in animal feed?
U.K. GPs ain't the problem. They're the easiest to control however as a political gesture
there no point in trying to change it.
stop working tirelessly for a system that not only dosent value you but actually hates you. work for an hourly rate
you will never ever convince people like this, its not even worth trying. but they still have to pay the market rate for my services ( or whatever rate i feel i can get away with). i dont believe in personal austerity in this recruitment crisis.
you will never change it. it will destroy you first.
get out and work for an hourly rate and look after yourself. obviously be a good doctor too.
the system has destroyed general practice. youre on your own...
ps you know you have to risk assess situations clinical systems are used in dont you?
(i used to be the CCG caldicott guardian in a different life)
lucky GPs getting 4G tablets connected to a clinical system.
wonder if their indemity will be increased by the inevitible GMC proceddings/public humiliation for data protection when these are stolen
here in the most deprived area of England the answer to no recruitment and massive workload was to send Steve Field and his thugs round to make our life a total nightmare so we all left after unimaginable stress
different approach you see.
and its rated good
mine was rated inadequate. not enough GPs was cited time and time again in the report ( hardly my fault as i was working a 70 hour week and no one applied for the jobs) and access was said to be not good enough. we all left and are all heartily glad
It now has many less GP appointments (about half since you ask), much less continuity and no medical taff working therre more than a day a week (many are locums)
im struggling with this
Never done the MRCGP, although I could pass it standing on my head so to speak. I have avoided all contact with this odious self serving organisation and I too am proud of this.
This is from someone who does far far more medical education yearly than required
We had no recruitment in the poorest area of England.
Cqc put the boot in with amazing viciousness
And all the partners left, and I don't work insane hours for the health of the patients now.
This is a parallel bullshit universe. Steve you obviously don't give a monkeys about the patients. If you want to see your handiwork research my area
Policies of not see patients, unfortunately in my area few doctors now do too
so only locums and nurses?
having run a practice where recruitment was impossible I had many days like that.
the moaning that the recruitment crisis was my fault as above was a big decision in the fact that I left altogether and now there are no regular doctors, just locums.
so keep moaning... its bound to help
my favourite one
can you please perform staging of this new diagnosed cancer patient in your surgery with community ultrasound as we have no appropriately qualified specialists at this hospital
then complaining to NHSE performance when I told them politely no way.
ive got the paperwork if anyones interested
It hasn't finished inspecting all practices in England
My practice has not been inspected
The CQC incompetently lying? Why am I not surprised
You've lost the best value working people Jeremy, by treating them like dirt.
So no plan is now going to work
And any solution is going to be very costly.
You created a vicious environment for doctors it's now time to reap the reward.
Ever heard the phrase if you think hiring a professional is expensive , tan amateur will cost you everything?
You'll get to know it...
I work at an APMS
It has not been inspected yet
CQC incompetently telling porkies?
Lansleys white paper abandoned les contracts in favour of open procurement
So either the SOS hasn't read the white paper and is clueless (as if!) or somebody else has made a mistake
We still call them les s but les s they ain't
But I don't care anyway as the SOS has destroyed my practice and I now sell my time by the hour, costing the system much more for much less
