it really is a farce when management consultancy like KPMG get paid large amounts of money their consultancy hourly rates are hundreds of pounds and they have been fleecing the NHS for years and getting away with it. How about an investigation into their performance and if they have saved any local health economies any money!
I really dont think it matters which party you vote for the NHS is in serious trouble whoever is in charge as we cannot afford it anymore in its existing state. Unless people are prepared to pay extra towards it either by taxes or extra payments we are well on the way of being the next titanic.
Oh well looks like i might decide to retire earlier than expected.
i can hear the bell tolling, disaster letting secondary care run primary care!
Lets all vote labour and get a 1.5% pay rise ! Excuse me but where is the money going to come from Mr Corbyn, i suspect the rich which is us i suppose so we will actually be worse off as you will tax us more ! Debate over i think
the bigger is better model suits NHS Englasnd because then they can incorporate the likes of Virgin etc to take it all over !Is there any reality left in NHS wonderland
I wonder if Jeremy reads Pulse, i doubt it maybe he would learn something though !
what have we been saying for years and trying to do, now they eventually come round to our thinking as they usually do ! Should be fun as there will be lots of patient groups objecting as they do.
There is also the point of course that most endometriosis is not a disease and if all woman where investigated a large percentage would have asymptomatic endometriosis so therefore are we over treating and medicalising things again because of pressure by certain groups in society. This of course doesn't mean that patients with severe disease shouldn't be treated.
We have been providing same day appts to ALL out patients who phone before 10am for years but people still complain !!
Really do we believe this ?maybe if they stopped allowing gambling adverts on TV etc would be a start rather than asking us to cure the world of all ills! Sometimes humans need to take responsibility for their own actions. or maybe the Gp could help again
What a joke, you wont be able to see your GP in their own practice but you can go to A?E and see them there !
We know whatever they give us they take away the next week. i suspect the only way for us to make them realize we actually save them money is by starting to overspend on everything we do like prescribing and referrals maybe then they will have to take notice. As i have said before it seems that the only people who ever get benefit financially in the NHS are those that under perform not the ones who actually over perform or make savings as these always seem to go and bail out the under performers
its not april fools day is it ?
this is ridiculous we have to all stop being so politically correct and if we offend patients bad luck if weight is the problem tell them so ! if they dont want to hear they will go elsewhere.
shouldnt we all just be ordering qivs pharma should stop making trivalents available anyway
Only the start of it, this is happening everywhere with all the housing developments and no money to build premises, watch this space as more and more patients cannot access a GP.Wonderful news all around
easily sorted if the notional rent is deducted charge secondary care for the use of room otherwise they lose its use. happening all over i suspect
what a total waste of time and money ! healthcare is about examining and diagnosing. We have gone too patient centric now this is getting silly. Money needs to go into actual patient care not digital technology for the benefit of patients in a waiting room !
The problem is that as we are seen by the public as high earners there is little sympathy for our quandary over pay . It is a battle the government know they can afford to take on because of this. if it was reflected in the fact we reduce patient care then it would be noted. But what we all do is just work harder and harder for less as we are generally all very conscientious and hard working by nature !
