easily sorted if the notional rent is deducted charge secondary care for the use of room otherwise they lose its use. happening all over i suspect
what a total waste of time and money ! healthcare is about examining and diagnosing. We have gone too patient centric now this is getting silly. Money needs to go into actual patient care not digital technology for the benefit of patients in a waiting room !
The problem is that as we are seen by the public as high earners there is little sympathy for our quandary over pay . It is a battle the government know they can afford to take on because of this. if it was reflected in the fact we reduce patient care then it would be noted. But what we all do is just work harder and harder for less as we are generally all very conscientious and hard working by nature !
Shows the value the NHS puts in people again !
Still the same pool of GPs trying to work more and more hours to get the government out of a hole !
Why is it that NHS England cant just do the same for the whole of England ! It is so disjointed that some can and some cant just as normal a game being played out .It is not a difficult decision to make
I feel very sorry for these practices but NHS England is making it impossible for the smaller practices to survive. it would be helpful if for once the press would pick up on these things rather than there normal bashing of GPs and focus on trying to help us improve the system.
this article doesn't make sense at all, i assume should read when taken out of being a partnership asset may be liable for ST
what a load of .... We all know that the only people who make comments either have a vested interest or want to complain as they havent got what they want. Thsi goes for all walks of life not just medicine. The NHS is in the ... at the moment so why dont we all just get back to being doctors whihc most of us are good at and we enjoy and signed up to. God knows why any young person would want to be a doctor now !
we tried everything this year and still couldnt convince people, our lowest uptake of chronic disease patients ever !
why dont they just invest in more gps, make the job more attractive, stop trying to plug holes with less experienced people who eventually like everyone else signpost see your GP,. there are hundreds of out of work doctors in the EU, get hold of them before brexit !
it is always a catch 22 situation, We have probable growth of 10000 patients in the next few years due to extensive housing being built in our area but are only in tranche 3 ! Which apparently means if some pull out we would receive funding. Only one answer really fund it ourselves and get 100% rent reimbursement ! And of course fund the land oursleves. It always seems to be once the horse has bolted response from NHS England and local councils. Why can they never think ahead. My Xmas wish list, be proavtive NHS England not just reactive, but even that would be good
Does anyone in the NHS England setup understand primary care and the pressures already on us. Its laughable that they think we have time to do this in our working day as it is !
Where does this suddenly come from, so lets give a 1% pay rise next year and start clawing it back now with this and i suspect other things like CQC fees etc. Or why doesn't the BMA/GPC etc say No for once
And where are the hours in the day and doctors going to come from for this, we already offer extended hours and if we extend further are they going to offer free counselling to our families and pay our divorce setttlements !
ALL THAT THESE SO CALLED HUBS DO IS CREATE ANOTHER ACCESS POINT ! IT WOULD BE FAR BETTER TO INVEST THE ENORMNOUS AMOUNTS OF MONEY FOR THESE PROJECTS INTO EXISITING PRIMARY CARE AND LET THE SURGERIES AND DOCTORS MANAGE DEMAND THE BEST WAY FOR THERE OWN POPULATIONS. wE HAVE A SHORTAGE OF SKILLED MEDICS THAT IS NURSES AND DOCTORS ALREADY, WHERE ARE THEY GOING TO FIND TIME TO STAFF YET ANOTHER ACCESS POINT !
what a shame lets hope with Brexit we will be able to do away with this lottery and use the best provider
i think this should be reported as inadequate as they obviously do not have the right policies in place when moving offices, this is not acceptable
Agreed why would we want to be bought out, the best investment in your working life as a GP is the property you own without it retirement will be on a lesser pension and then no property payout either. looks like fools gold to me but hey the younger generation may prefer working for someone else and having the freedom that brings.
the mortgage risk is negligible , you wouldnt not buy your own home and this is even subsidised ! Young doctors are making a big mistake in not investing in property especially as their pensions will be worse. Think like big business guys not like a corner shop if you want a future. And stop being anonymous i never understand that who is going to worry about your comments maybe someone at the EU
