  • Video: Exercise programme for plantar fasciitis

    Susie Clarke's comment 17 Jul 2013 10:55am

I am a teacher of classical ballet and began suffering with plantar fasciitis 2 months ago. I am very disciplined and have been doing these exercises for 2 months. I cannot afford to keep visiting a private physiotherapist - I am self employed. My GP has informed me that I will have to pay to see a podiatrist as I am not diabetic. I am worried that the condition will worsen when I start work again in the autumn. I want to continue to be able to teach dance but this condition has made it almost impossible. I have also put on weight as I feel I have lost "the spring in my step". I will keep on with the exercises as my GP suggests but would be grateful for any further advice.
