Does this increase the number consultation or do patients use e-Consultations instead of actual ones
I'm self employed
I can decide what I do!
I enjoy the variety but it isn't fun anymore and is getting worse
I thought it was the Health Committee who complained about the manipulating of funding figures!
In Glasgow Childhood Immunisations done by HV , so NO reduction in workload for Staff or GPs
Will the same apply for childhood flu and pregnant women?
I would have thought this is a multi factorial problem
Longer appointments will only be useful if
1) There is continuity of care
2) There are adequate resources
3) There are MORE GPs
4) ???Smaller list sizes
Its all about the money
Can we get one of those nice NHS badges he has on?
Where do you get them?
Who would get the gongs. Inner city GPs with 30 + years experience or college boys?
I thought if you were bankrupt, you couldn't be registered by the GMC. That would be truly catastrophic
Unfortunately can't hear the interview, but I would have thought that a government that can impose a Junior Doctor Contract, can make junior doctors work for 4 years!
I suspect that neither primary nor secondary care will ever get this money
Smoke, mirrors and politicians "exaggerations"
It is a Tory party headline. Will be Fish and Chip wrapper tomorrow
There will be no new money, no new doctors and I suspect no binding of doctors to NHS, unless they do the same for ALL PAMS- They're too busy with BREXIT to do it
Is this 1st April?
Is actual money involved or is this a paper exercise. Either way it seems daft, and allows politicians to claim lots of money has been invested in property!!
Always the same. A politician announces something and nothing happens for months or years. And £10 Million is very small change in the grand scheme of things
Not convinced banter has much to do with it.
When I started around 25 years ago GP was good "fun", although not quite Golden Age
Now it isn't (but I don't think our hospital colleagues are having much fun either!)
Shouldn't the headline read " GPs will stop doing Spirometry and referring ALL respiratory problems to secondary for ALL treatment and management in 2021"?
Why don't just say no, we won't do it?
