I’m injecting myself with bleach me 😂
GP power baby.
Vulnerable does not equate to stupid.
ObiOne, what a fantastic alternative. It’s a yes from me.
I see an officer with a loaded pistol aimed at a conscientious objectors head as he’s about to enter no mans land.
Herd immunity imposition through the back door. Sneaky.
Not showing my pretty face to no strangers camera. Next thing you know is you’ve gone viral for the wrong reasons.
The pressure from the profession must have been really intense following the Bawa-Garba case so this must be a very welcome face saving exercise for the regulators. Smoke em while you got em boys.
111 is a disaster zone. No discrimination between the sick and the anxious. Hence the back to GP policy.
@ Ian Chalmers,
Been coughed at 10 times already today. Some were back from holidays abroad etc.too late for PPE.
Front line staff better be young and healthy.
You need to have relaxed and competent GPs for continuity to work. Just saying.
ALL GPs that have f2f contact with patients will be infected with COVID-19 by the end of next month. Stop visiting the elderly and nursing homes at the very least. Long live telemedicine.
And the rest.
And what exactly can a GP do with a patient who’s infected with COVID-19 ? Hold their hand, say sweet nothings, catch the virus and die as they are elderly and frail themselves.
Or maybe invent a cure and save the world from yet another flu virus?
The level of incompetence demonstrated by the authorities is beyond belief but I’m really glad it’s finally highlighted in such a clear way.
Moral is excellent! Now, where’s that pink flying elephant that’s trying to kill me?
Like taking candy from a baby.
My local A&E has a GP at their door asking patients if they would be happy to see another GP sitting in a container box. You couldn’t make it up if you tried . Needless to say patients and all involved hate it, but the CCG needs to be seen to be doing something. We live in desperate times peeps.
Doctorism at its finest 👍🏼
Called PHE two days ago for a lady who was in Beijing the previous week. She usually lives in a nearby province and was visiting relatives in the UK. She called 111 with symptoms of pyrexia, malaise and mild SOB. Speaking to PHE was very disappointing. A call handler passed on my details to a public health practitioner who eventually had a chat with the consultant. The practitioner called me back to say ‘nothing to see here’. No effort to contact the patient or ask any other questions, just ‘ no Wuhan, no dice’ . There has been two cases confirmed in Germany with no previous travel to China recently. Come on PHE, get your thump out!
