Loved the nurse's 10:40 comments -almost as funny as Copperfield himself!
Hmm! So the porn-fixated referred to their GP (another great government wheeze) will be able to download their 'fix' in the waiting-room?!
I'd love a copy of 'The Night Stalker' for the Management corridor!
Nice quote from Ivan there which can be trotted out in a couple of years when it (inevitably) goes tits up!
As usual, I laughed so loud that I'll have to check that I haven't 'crapped blood'!
They should have stuck pins in the effigy, too!
Forget the handwringing, there will be consultant cover for emergencies. Bring it on!
'Astrocytomas and shit' - where can I get a copy! :-)
Hunt lies every time his lips move. STRIKE!
So burnt-out old farts like me can move into general practice for a cushy life until retirement? No, it sounds bollocks to me as well!
0.17 - The nutter brigade are in again, I see.
When is this cartoon coming out? The summer hols. are long and my kids are bored.
There speaks a typical manager - as if nothing 'minor' was ever 'major' in disguise. And of course the diagnostic facilities which would have been available in the MIU (X-ray, phlebotomy, etc) will be set up in each GP surgery? Thought not!

Or just prescribe metformin.......
Aberdeen or Edinburgh? Has Dr Hinkley moved practice?
Anon 11:31. True, but there was/is no unified opposition to the piecemeal attacks on primary care from tories and labour over the past decade. Hunt made it easy for us hospital docs by attacking us head-on. Time for undated letters of resignation all round, I think.
Signed with gusto!
PM 2:51. Perhaps it will be the hospitals problem - but they will still send the bill for the extra tests to the CCG!
