Shared Decision-Making

Described by the NHS as a more empowering, adult-adult relationship which helps give patients the care they need and no less, the care they want and no more. The Right Care Shared Decision Making Programme is led by NHS East of England. It's claimed it will provide opportunities to tackle a number of problems and challenges inherent in the NHS byimproving patient satisfaction and experience and realising the potential of patients as joint decision makers and joint providers of their own care and recovery.
