...At least read our IB113 form!

I am sure Professor Mansel Aylward, the Department of Work and Pensions chief medical officer, is correct in saying we are obliged to complete IB113 under our terms of service (May 12).

In our practice we view it as a waste of time as our information appears to be totally ignored by the DWP doctor. We have filled in forms in terms such as 'this man hasn't been seen for 18 months, he takes no medication and, as far as I know, he has no illnesses, but you found him incapable of work two years ago' and they are found 'incapable' again.

So we view the forms as low priority, and it's nothing to do with a fee for service though maybe if the department had to pay, it would read the answers!
