Better GP premises? Once bitten..

From Dr Anita Sharma

Oldham

Despite Department of Health claims to have improved the quality of GP premises via the LIFT scheme, the problem is getting worse.

Three years ago I noticed insects in my surgery.

Most of our rooms were full of little flying ants. Enviornmental health confirmed my diagnosis but tell us they are harmless.

The ants appear in great numbers when the weather is nice, and we go home with bites.

Can someone tell me what else should I be doing to protect my staff and patients?
