BMA pensions decision: Hear the result first

The BMA is holding an extraordinary council meeting today to debate how to respond to the Government's pensions offer – and whether to ballot GPs on industrial action.

The meeting takes place at BMA House in central London, and is not open to the media. But Pulse will be following developments throughout the day, and a press statement on the outcome of the meeting is expected late this afternoon.

We'll be sending out a ‘Breaking News' alert as soon as the result is known. To ensure you hear the news first, make sure you are signed up to our daily newsletters. Log in to PulseToday, then check your newsletter preferences at the top right of this page.
