Tips for new docs, from a new doc

As #tipsfornewdocs began to trend on Twitter, Pulse's own 'new doc' Martin Wicks had some advice of his own to share:

Eat and drink well, you will work better. You know you’re hungry when patients’ food starts to look nice. You’ll know when you haven’t had enough to drink when your breath smells. #tipsfornewdocs

If you have not done many night shifts before, plan how you’re going to get home safely. I’ve heard of some really serious car accidents by exhausted junior doctors coming home from night shifts in the first few months. #tipsfornewdocs
