'Commercial' calls unethical

Lesley Mayo's letter (January 22) really is a carbon copy of my situation.

As the 10th birthday of 'the shed' approaches I am still here in my temporary building. The PCT showed several pictures of new-build on its Christmas card but the proposals for my new-build remain just that. Even the talking has dried up.

A patient of mine complained (without letting me know) to the local paper. The subsequent article quoted a representative of the PCT as saying: 'The plans are already very advanced down to the layout of each individual room....'

However, no meeting to discuss room layout has ever taken place. I have e-mailed the representative but as yet have not had a reply.
