Consultant would not work for that

I applaud Dr Jeremy Tankel for reducing his area's waiting list for minor surgery by 75 per cent by using his expertise in treating minor skin conditions (Photograph, January 20).

But I do think that being paid £170 for a three-hour session is taking charity to the extreme. I wonder how much the consultant would get paid for doing similar work?
