COPD quality dilemma

In his letter of March 15, Dr Keith Charlton wonders if he understands your article 'GPs split over COPD quality dilemma' (News, March 8). He doesn't.

I do not chair a NICE group. I had no part in the NICE guideline on COPD. I have no involvement with NICE. I am, however, chairman of the General Practice Airways Group.
