Coughing child: a video module (1 CPD hour)

Respiratory physician Dr Mark Rosenthal on differentiating between causes of cough in a child including asthma, post-nasal drip, aspiration and psychogenic cough.

Learning objectives

To improve your understanding of:

  • Pattern recognition in a coughing child
  • Factors in the history to aid correct diagnosis in the coughing child
  • Associated symptoms that typically present
  • Spotting and managing a suspected foreign body obstruction

In this module, you will watch Dr Mark Rosenthal deliver a presentation covering the above topics. This video was recorded at a Pulse Clinical Seminar which took place in January 2012.
