Extra Hib? Spread doses instead

Dr Syed Raza Hussein is touring the UK encouraging uptake of meningitis vaccine among Muslims making the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca. He is giving a series of seminars explaining that being vaccinated against meningitis C is not sufficient and the quadrivalent meningitis vaccine is needed.

Dr Hussein, a GP in Birmingham, said: 'Patients must have a certificate of vaccination to get a visa.'
