Eye emergencies - the practioner’s guide

A practical guide to all things eyes, aimed primarily at nurses but with useful tips for GPs too, according to our reviewer

A practical guide to all things eyes, aimed primarily at nurses but with useful tips for GPs too, according to our reviewer

Eye emergencies - the practitioner's guide is by a couple of advanced nurse practitioners with specialist ophthalmic training.

It is an excellent book for nurses, nurse practitioners and opthalmic nurses and useful also for medical students. It has useful practical tips even for experienced GPs.

The book is well laid-out, well presented with colour photographs and full of sensible management plans for common eye conditions. Each chapter is well referenced.

It is difficult to fault this book and I would recommend it highly for the intended audience.
