French GPs boost capital recruitment

A group of 11 French GPs has arrived in south-east London to help boost GP recruitment.

The GPs arrived at the beginning of March to start a 10-week course covering clinical skills, consultation skills and English. They will take up posts in practices in Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley.

They join 14 GPs from France who are already in practices around south-east London.
