At the heart of general practice since 1960

Get used to voting!

I was delighted to read the letter (June 9) by Dr David Wrigley, chair of the GP registrars sub-committee, on why GP registrars should be involved in the vote on the as he will have to work under it for the rest of his working life. I wholeheartedly agree he and his colleagues should be involved. His enthusiasm for his new career reminded me of mine when I started in general practice.

But I would like to point out to him, after 16 years as a principal and some halfway through my career, that if this contract is accepted it will be the third I have worked to! I doubt it will be the last time he is required to vote in this way.
