Good job my appraisal's out of the way

Thankfully, I have not long completed my appraisal for this year. But I am being plagued by a guilty secret. I am associating, professionally, with liars, conmen and cheats.

In my defence, I only had vague suspicions before my appraisal, but I wish now that I had mentioned it. It is, after all, a probity issue.

I can't stand by any longer and do nothing about the lies these individuals are telling about the contract they have put on me.

I feel a bit stupid in being taken in so easily in the first place by their con trick.

And I've spent the money.

I don't have much to show for it. I blew it all on an orgy of points. And now they say I'll have to work overtime to pay off what I owe.
