GP childcare costs

Regarding my childcare arrangements quoted in Pulse (Choices, September 8), I would like to clarify that I earn a reduced parity share as I do no out-of-hours on-call.

My disposable earnings are less than £7,000 a year after deduction of tax, professional expenses and childcare costs significantly less than the £12,500 my nanny earns for working three-and-a-half days purely to cover my working time.
