GPC chair opens major new LMC HQ

By Steve Nowottny

GPC chair Dr Laurence Buckman has opened new offices for one of the largest LMC groups in the country, after an increased workload serving 3,500 GPs forced it to relocate to new premises.

Wessex LMCs, which represents more than 400 practices across Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, held the official opening for its new offices in Eastleigh, Hampshire on Wednesday.

Churchill House was chosen after the LMCs team outgrew its previous offices, and offers easy access to transport, free parking conference facilities and state of the art media equipment.
