GPs asked for help to trace missing girl

Police have asked GPs to help them find a woman who went missing in September.

Shafilea Ahmed, 17, has an oesophageal stricture caused by consumption of a chemical substance and was receiving dilation treatment for the condition.

She is an Asian female, 5ft 3in tall, slim build, with shoulder-length dark brown hair. She was reported missing on Thursday, September 11, 2003.
