GPs condemn Blair sicknotes proposals

Dr Olive Buckley is taking her commitment to her job a stage further than usual.

The Northern Ireland GP has begun offering a hotline to her mobile for young people wanting advice on sexual health.

Dr Buckley, a GP in Carrickfergus, County Antrim, set up the text messaging service to provide vulnerable people with better access to information. She said: 'Texting is a more realistic and accessible way of spreading information.'
