'GPs don't have to publish scores'

GPC chair Dr John Chisholm has told practices they will be under 'no obligation' to publish their quality and outcomes scores.

Health minister John Hutton has made clear he wants practice scores published from April 2005 under the Freedom of Information Act, but Dr Chisholm said: 'Practices certainly don't have to publish a Q&O score. I suspect most won't and some will.'
