GPs to get a new child health guide

The RCGP has produced a new guide on child health for GPs and parents.

Promoting Child Health in Primary Care, launched last week, aims to present the latest research and expert advice in a useful form for primary care workers.

Areas covered by the guide include nutrition, immunisation, prevention of accidental injuries, growth and developmental surveillance, screening and childhood determinants of adult health, as well as the legal aspects of child health surveillance.
