GPs wait for news on practice income

GPs attending contract roadshows will not know how the contract affects their income before they question negotiators, writes Susan McNulty.

But 22 out of the 60 UK roadshows for GPs to question negotiators will have taken place by Friday.

A ready-reckoner for GPs to calculate their practice's

income will be put on the BMA website before the ballot opens on March 20. The Carr-Hill formula was planned for distribution last summer and a CD-ROM intended for release with the priced contract.
