Have you heard of this allergy tester?

Could anyone enlighten me on this? I have heard of allergy testing using a Vega machine (though I don't know what Vega stands for).

I have just discovered several other kinds of Vega machine, including a lathe used by Ferrari to make cars, and a company making lights for harbour entrances and radar equipment in NZ, but I think these are irrelevant.

A patient tells me she has had her renal stones shattered by a Vega machine. This does not sound like Vega allergy testing to me it sounds more like lithotripsy by ultrasound.

Has there been an advance in Vega that is beyond my knowledge ?
