'He's no idea what we do'

The Chief Medical Officer has failed to take into account how locum GPs work in drawing up his recommendations, Dr Richard Fieldhouse believes.

Dr Fieldhouse, chief executive of the National Association of Sessional GPs, said Sir Liam's proposal for practices to file reports to GMC affiliates on locums they used was unworkable.

Dr Fieldhouse, a sessional GP
