Hidden diabetics

Home-based cardiac rehabilitation is as effective as hospital care for patients with coronary heart disease, research shows.

Researchers at the University of Birmingham randomised 35 CHD patients to hospital-based rehabilitation and 37 to nurse-facilitated home care. They found patients' haemostatic profiles improved to a similar degree over three months.
