Pulse readers choose pantomime villain of the year

Mr Lansley successfully defended his title by a sizable margin over his nearest rival, current health secretary Jeremy Hunt. It is his second award this year, after being awarded the ‘vanishing act award’ for 2012.

The award marks a year of mixed fortunes for Mr Lansley, seeing his cherished health reformed implemented from afar after losing his post as health secretary in a Cabinet reshuffle this autumn.
