At the heart of general practice since 1960

Let us know what you think of our new-look site

We are continually thinking of new ways to help you keep up to date with all that is happening in general practice, and today we release the latest upgrade of the Pulse website, which makes it easier than ever to get your dose of the latest news and advice on the go.

The website has been redesigned to be easier to navigate and use on mobile devices. The new site still contains all your favourites, such as breaking news, in-depth analysis and our stable of star bloggers, including Copperfield, Nabi and the surreal Through The K Hole.

But now the website will adapt to your mobile device, so you can effortlessly read, comment on and share all our free online content using your tablet or smartphone.

We have introduced a new ‘hot topics’ menu, so that you can find out the latest on the stories that everyone is talking about, as well as a new ‘tea break’ section collecting together the best short-form content on the site, so that you can stay updated in the time it takes to finish your brew between surgeries.

Please take a look around and tell us what you think of the new site. Leave any comments below and let us know about any improvements you would like to see in the future.

  • Sorry but I preferred the old one - could see more, albeit smaller, on one page without scrolling up and down. Better without huge pictures. (Only my opinion but you did invite comment).

  • In the name of everything that is holy, pure and akin to Olivia Newton John, please, please give us back the old format. It was clearer, you knew where things where and didnt make my eyes water.
In my day if it worked you didnt mess with it. I don't know what the world is coming to...... I blame all that flower power and listening to The Doors.

  • Please give it a few days. It may never Light Your Fire, but hopefully you will warm to it.

  • Feel completely lost and will certainly miss that clear format you had.

  • Dreadful I'm afraid. Old site actually easier to navigate and read. Yuck.

  • Have you got a new face on the team who is trying to earn their place in Pulse history? They will be remembered as ruining something that was a pleasure to use. Now, sadly the pleasure is in the past.

  • I like it - you have focussed on the text delivery appropriately. The mobile site works well.
Much better than another recent doctor's site 'improvement'.
