  • Dear Clare,

do you feel that too much of the direction in health policy is being dictated by the "wants" of a London population? If not do you accept that this is something that we need to be wary of?

  • Hello Clare,

I heard you on Woman's Hour about three weeks ago saying that the NHS gets far more work out of two part-time female GPs than they do out of one full time male. Do you still think that is true?

  • Do you agree with your husbands assessment that, "All those associated with the 2012 Health and Social Care Act will not be treated well by historians" as reported in last weeks BMJ?

Do you think that high profile doctors have done enough to warn the general public that there are great concerns within our profession that Government policy is aimed at destablising the NHS and leading to the potential loss of many of the principles the NHS stands for?

  • Dear Clare,

1.Do you still believe the IC status has had it's day? If so, how would you propose we pay the workforce to prevent them being "working to rule"

    2. Do you still believe we should have 24 hour responsibility for the frail elderly? If so, what form should this take and what do you think it will do to retention and recruitment?

  • Dear Prof. Gerada,
Do you approve that Pulse applies censorship to the questions put to you?

  • Dear Clare - the HSJ has published the HSJ Top 50 BME Pioneers list a few days ago. There are 5 GPs on the list that includes Dr Chand Nagpaul, Dr Kailash Chand, Dr Raj Kumar, Dr Una Coales and Dr Aneez Ismail. All of these eminent and accomplished GPs are members of the college and are being acknowledged for diverse accomplishments in the NHS. In particular Prof Aneez Ismail is cited on the list for his widely acknowledged recent RCGP exam bias discrimination paper. Do you hand on heart really think you have handled the recent BME related issues raised by him in a manner that gained the respect of our BME and non BME colleagues from our college? I have always had a healthy respect for yourself as a leader, but the way this issue was handled made me doubt our own Royal college and its leaderships ability to manage a E&D crisis/ allegation such as this in a mature and constructive manner. Reflections ?

Do you feel that reforms brought about by the Health and Social Care Act will destabilise General Practice to the extent that we will see bankruptcies and closures within the next two years?
