Save time during consultations with Pulse’s free Toolkit app

Pulse has launched an essential free mobile app for all GPs, with a comprehensive range of diagnostic and screening tools to help them with day-to-day consultations.

Pulse Toolkit

The Pulse Toolkit - which is now available to download on mobile and tablet devices - offers a range of tools for GPs to assist them with patient consultations, including advice on interpretation and treatment from the relevant guidelines.

Since it was launched, the Pulse Toolkit has scooped the prestigious Digital innovation of the Year gong at the Medical Journalists’ Association awards, beating off the likes of the BBC and the BMJ.

One of the judges at the awards, said: ‘It (Pulse Toolkit) has made a real and important impact with GPs, helping them in the most vital area of their work: the patient consultation.’

Pulse Toolkit

This easy-to-use mobile app is free to download, and includes a variety of clinical decision aids and scores, including:

  • ABCD2 (stroke risk)
  • Centor criteria (Streptococcal infection)
  • CHA2DS2-VASc (anticoagulation)
  • CRB-65 (pneumonia)
  • HAS-BLED (bleed risk)
  • Two-level Wells PE score (pulmonary embolism)

Doesn't allow you to read the terms and conditions.
    Can't accept without reading.
Please fix. Not agreeing without knowing what I am accepting.

  • Hi there,

    Thanks for your comment.

After the app has installed on your mobile, it should automatically display a small box which outlines the terms and conditions - within this box you can scroll up and down to read all the text.

If you have any further issues, please email joedavis@cogora.com
