How can we reduce the VAT bill on our practice extension?
We own our practice premises and would like to extend them. But we also want to retain control - in other words we do not at this stage want to consider a ‘sell and lease back' via a PFI company. The land and current building are ours. We want to minimise the amount of VAT payable. Could you explain what elements of the build may incur VAT? What steps can we take to reduce the final VAT bill?
