How should GPs react on the QOF?

Name and address supplied

I wonder what colleagues would advise regarding the proposed variance to our GMS contract which would re-allocate the QOF points to other work, some of it new?

Should we accept the variance, in writing as per the relevant clause, or should we decline it and stick to the previous points allocations?

It would be helpful to have some opinion as to whether the local health board would accept our declining to vary the contract.

And also what might occur at the predicted subsequent 'established NHS disputes procedure' that would presumably come into play if our local health board wanted to agree a variance and we declined it.
