It's funny, clever and well worth watching. But there's a serious point as well. What with all the furore over the contract negotiations in recent week, there have been repeated calls for the BMA to launch a national media campaign, hiring a top-notch PR agency and taking out ads in the national papers.

The BMA tend to argue, not unreasonably, that such a campaign would be prohibitively expensive and, given the current media climate, uncertain of success. But they could do worse than look at this kind of viral, 21st century alternative…
