In search of guidance on HRT implants

Has anyone else been having the same problems we are with regards to HRT implants done in hospitals?

Our local hospital trust stopped doing them this July. We have patients coming from the hospital who don't wish to have the alternative offered, which is to have patches.

So there are patients now having HRT implants in primary care provided by the approved GP surgeons.

The issue is whether there are any national guidelines on this? Unfortunately I have had no replies from the local commissioning PCT or hospital gynaecologist.

Any suggestions or views would be appreciated.
