It's not a GP's place to preach on family size

Sanctimonious GPs are a peculiar breed.

Most of us probably have the misfortune of knowing or working with the type of GP who likes to spout their own logic to an unsuspecting patient.

Most are probably harmless, but I find it disturbing that a woman could go to Dr Pip Hayes, delighted with the thought of having her third, fourth or fifth child, only to be told she is an irresponsible drain on resources. Would she try to persuade her to have a termination?

This point of view is offensive. It is not our place to right the wrongs of the world and I can only hope the GP has never revealed these views to any of her patients.
