JCPTGP worthwhile

I am an English-born 60-year-old GP from South Africa who has just completed six months as a GP registrar in Cheshire. Despite deep misgivings about being required by the JCPTGP to become a trainee and notwithstanding the taxing video part of the summative assessment, I have found the process to be a user-friendly way of adapting to British GP culture and of being assimilated into the local PCT.
