Keep patients informed about Summary Care Records

Whatever GPs decide to do about the Summary Care Record, it is vital their patients are as well informed as possible so that they can choose.

Informing them well is not an easy task, as we all know. Steps have to be taken that will catch people who are not frequent visitors to the surgery or the practice website. In the end, we all want the same thing – well informed people able to choose the approach to their records that offers them the safest care and greatest peace of mind.
