Kit to help GPs start pharmacies

The fledgling General Practitioners Union is considering creating a 'kit' to help GPs adapt surgeries to take advantage of a possible deregulation of the pharmacy market.

Dr Ahmad Risk, founder member of the union, set up to rival the BMA, said the kit would include advice on IT systems, stock and ordering supplies.
